Video Editing Software – YouTube
The Dailiy Shed #206 – Behind the scenes, my life has been misery trying to figure out the software I need to make the gaming channel work. I thought “Easy, I record footage on my phone, and then put it together with the camera footage!” I assumed the hard part would be the commentary (and it TOTALLY IS!)
Then, came the card lesson on variable framerate and what that means to Premier Pro (exacly nothing…. they don’t care.) So, I had to figure out a way to take this footage from my phone, and make it work with Premier Pro.

Handbrake takes video, and re-encodes it. It can fix framerate issues, compress video/audio, and make things all better… except when it can’t. I spent the weekend trying these editing solutions, and none of them worked:

Today, I found this awesome tool and it totally fixed my problem in like 45 seconds: http://www.videoredo.com/en/index.htm – it’s apparently made for ripping TV shows to DVD or something, but it works amazingly well for fixing my video issues. I might even buy it.
