The Daily Shed #1387 – I know me. When I get into something, I get INTO it. Game design has been my focus lately. Luckily, there’s a kill switch. Order the prototypes. This effectively shuts my brain up as I wait for the current version to be manufactured and sent to me. Now I don’t have to think about it for a few weeks. Not because I don’t want to invalidate the materials I just ordered… but something in my head says this is a “stage” and I don’t need to think about it until the next stage. Invariably it will get changed again, and re-ordered, but for a little while I get a break from constantly obsessing.
