When you want to make money, you have to spend money. That’s the addage and it’s the truth. It’s also the principle behind the “joke”: When you want to make a small fortune, start with a large fortune.
I don’t really consider that a joke. More like a proverb. If you don’t have the cash money to invest in your idea, you have another type of equity you CAN invest: sweat equity. Put in the work and set yourself up to profit. Don’t sit back and wait on miracles.
