The Daily Shed #262 – I generally try to keep family stuff out of the show. I’ll talk about personal stuff all day long, but when it comes to my family, I let them decide when they want to be a part of it or not.
Well, today I was asked to share. My brother-in-law, Todd, is in critical condition. Last night, his liver and kidneys shut down. Completely. They are now dead. He is being flown to Allegheny medical to see a liver specialist. He is going to need a new liver and kidneys and… well… sadly, there isn’t an abundance of organs out there.
People don’t often think about this stuff until it affects them. I am a registered organ donor, you should consider it yourself. If it were your brother, what would you do?
