The Daily Shed #116 – Gasoline is an amazing fuel source. It is super energy-dense while also being somewhat safe. Safer than other fuels with similar energy density. The thing is, it’s an organic compound and it’s going to break down over time. Add in some ehtanol and other modern crap and it can turn into sludge in no time.
My brother-in-law let his bike sit for 4 with a bunch of fuel in it. The carbs were all gummed up because the fuel broke down. Don’t be like my brother-in-law.
