The Daily Shed #299 – The newspaper has a special place in my heart. My first job was as a paperboy. My father read the paper every day. My grandfather read the entire paper in one sitting and then finished each crossword puzzle.
Yet, I’ve not had a paper subscription in over a decade. The internet replaced my local news. As my world-view expanded, I no longer yearned for small town news.
Within the past year, my local paper began doing a weekly free-edition that is delivered to everyone in the reading area via the USPS. It’s honestly pretty awesome. Do you have something like that?
