MAKING ACOUSTIC PANELS (CHEAP!)

MAKING ACOUSTIC PANELS (CHEAP!) – YouTube
The Daily Shed #223 – I found some eggshell foam at work the other day and thought they might be perfect for solving my sound reflection issues at the gaming desk.

So, I built a few quick wooden frames, wrapped them in an old tee-shirt, and stapled everything together with a bit of foam camping pad. No, this is not a studio quality sound treatment. No, I am not expecting amazing results. What I am expecting, is to cut just a bit of the initial rebound off of the wall right behind my mic and trim out a bit of the top end. This will help my recordings be just a BIT more warm.

Let’s discuss in the comments!

Hello friends! Welcome to my shed. The Daily Shed is a daily (Mon-Fri) talk show that I produce in my shed. Each day, I pick a topic to discuss, and spend about 10 minutes on the subject. Then we talk about it in the comments! Thanks for checking out the show! – Chevee
