SIGNMAKING WITH 3D PRINTED ROUTER TEMPLATES – YouTube
I’ve been wanting to make signs for a while now. You can buy lettering kits that do what I’ve made here with my 3D printer, but then you are stuck with only a single font and a single letter size. I wanted my system to be completely customizeable and flexible.
It occurred to me that I had the 3D printer, all I needed to do was come up with a template design and start printing out letters. There was a TON of trial and error before this video. I tried lots of different template designs and base plates before settling on this particular combination.
